Selmer Balanced Action (BA) tenor saxophone.
Having just benefitted from strip down service, this horn is in great playing condition, the action is tight and snappy, quiet and well regulated. All lateral and horizontal play on the keywork has been removed. There is no evidence of pull down on the neck. As the pictures below testify there are no dents worth mentioning on this horn.
The pads have plenty of life left in them and it is set up ready to gig.
The horn was re-lacquered in the 80’s and whilst this may detract from its desirability as a collectors horn it in no way diminishes the tone and playability of this sax.
