Selmer Paris Balanced Action ( BA) Tenor Saxophone 1937

Selmer Balanced Action (BA) tenor saxophone.
Having just benefitted from a full overhaul and fitted with Pisoni pads, Tenor Madness screw in ( and reusable) brass resonators, new blued steel springs, new pearl finger buttons throughout, new linkage materials – tech cork, ultrasuede, teflon etc, new felt bumpers.
This horn is in great playing condition. The action is tight and snappy, quiet and well regulated. All lateral and horizontal play on the keywork has been removed. There is no evidence of pull down on the neck. As the pictures below testify there are no dents worth mentioning on this horn.
There is around 95% lacquer present on the tenor with some acid bleed around the keyboard feet on the bell.
The horn was professionally re-lacquered in the early 70’s and most of the engraving is still sharp and crisp. Whilst this may detract from its desirability as a collectors horn, it in no way diminishes the tone and playability of this sax.
