This tenor socket from a Super 20 tenor had one of the screw lugs sheared off and had been previously soft soldered back on.
It was desoldered
A new outer tenon made on the lathe
Slot and hole cut and drilled then silver soldered into place.
New screw lugs fitted and silver soldered using low melt solder.
Then soft soldered back on to the crook. Job done.
