Selmer Paris Mark 6 Alto saxophone with “double s” neck

Selmer Paris Mk 6 alto saxophone in fabulous condition.
Having recently benefitted from a service, this alto is in great playing condition with a nice light but snappy action, which is responsive and quiet.
According to the serial number charts, this horn dates from 1954 – the first year of Mk 6 production.
It also has the “double S” logo which is actually an “S” a “&” and a letter “C’ for Selmer & Cie.
This horn has sharp European ( French) engraving
The neck has had no pull down.
Original lacquer around 95%
With no high F# key, no dents, this horn is gig ready. The pads have plenty of life left in them.

Comes complete with original end plug and case.
