Selmer Paris Mark 6 Tenor saxophone.

Selmer Mark 6 Tenor saxophone.

1964  Serial No 115XX

Purchased by a good customer of mine from SaxAtelier in the Netherlands – a specialist Selmer dealer/technician the end of march last year. It had full overhaul including all pads prior to  purchase and was sold to as an original lacquer horn.
Silver plated keys with Euro/UK engraving.
There are signs of a few minor dings here and there that   SaxAtelier removed during the overhaul.
There is a blemish in the lacquer on the right side of the bell like where it would have been placed in a stand.
The lacquer is speckled in a few places but overall very nearly complete coverage. The neck shows no signs of ever suffering a pull down or such like. There is a small dink in the neck on the right hand side, all pretty minor cosmetic stuff on a horn over 50 years old.
Complete with its original and scarce grey croc skin case which is also in fantastic condition complete with the “Selmer” badge which is often missing on these cases. The latches work fine and there is the key key .
No mouthpiece is included in the sale.
